William Mackrell (b.1983) lives and works in London

Mackrell works out of performance, etching and painting leaving behind traces and fragile assemblages that delve into bodily sensations of touch, absence and desire.

Mackrell was awarded the Manchester Contemporar Art Fund (2017) and recently supported by Fluxus Art Projects (2021) for his exhibition at Musée Delacroix, Paris. Residencies include Galerie Krinzinger, Vienna (2023 & 2017) and LaunchPad, France (2019).
